Rithu Rocks; 7-year-old boy’s spoof video goes viral

Due to the Covid-19 epidemic, children have been bored at home as they have been confined to indoor games, online classes, and television. But even in these difficult times, some of them discover their hidden talents and find new ways to showcase them to the public.

A seven-year-old boy from Coimbatore is now captivating fans. Rithu is being praised on social media for his spoof video. Rithu’s father Jyoti Raj was amazed at his ability to learn and act without seeing dialogues. Ritu’s father encouraged him to create such videos to keep him away from boredom. In collaboration with Jyotiraj, he also started a YouTube channel to share videos created by Rithu.

As an experiment, father and son joined to create a spoof video based on news reporting. In the video clip, the boy himself played various roles as an anchor, field reporter, and common man. Rithu, who played all the roles to perfection, had a clear pronunciation of Tamil words that was better than any other child. The eight-minute skit shows us proof of Rithu’s brilliance and subtle memory.

Rithu says he is happy with the success of his YouTube channel and the growing number of subscribers, but he plans to be an astronaut. Currently, the seven-year-old boy’s channel ‘Rithu Rocks’ has over 98,000 subscribers.
