Collector's Dish, oblong 13" x 6.5" x 1.5". Dish is not flat has a dip in it like a bowl, so, you could use it as a tinket dish. This is a 95 year old piece of art. At one time it looks like it could have been gold plated but the gold has worn off and now it is only gold in the engravings. THE SESQUI-CENTENNIAL PHILADELPHIA on top. The bottom reads: 150 YEARS OF AMERICAN INDEPENDENCE. The center of the dish is also engraved with pictures of Independence Hall, Liberty Bell (in the middle) and City Hall on the End. On both ends of the plate there is a vase with flowers and has purposely cut outs along the vase. It is a really attractive collectors item. The back does not have anything on it but... I think it is neat that you can see the outlines of what is on the front. Great condition, a notch down from excellent. 1 flaw I can see is from aging and that is on one end there is a gold strip that has not worn down yet. I have polished 6/2021. Some residue previous owner.
