Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the launch of the mYoga app for yoga training videos, which will be available worldwide in different languages. “India has taken another important step in collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO). Now there will be a mYoga app that will offer yoga training videos in different languages for people all over the world, ”said the Prime Minister.
“The mYoga app will be a great example of the merging of modern technology and ancient science. I think the app will be a big part of the past year, but this year the main event was shown on a TV show due to the COVID-19 pandemic, ”he added. The app can be used as a daily yoga companion between the ages of 12 and 65.
According to the WHO website, the mYoga app was developed through a “review of the scientific literature and an extensive consultation process by international experts”. The app is a collaboration between the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Ministry of Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, and Homeopathy (Ministry of AYUSH), Government of l ‘India.
The application does not collect any data from users. and is recommended as a “daily yoga companion for ages 12-65”. The mYoga app is currently available in English, Hindi, and French. It will be available in other UN languages in the coming months.
