Abu Dhabi: Fuel prices will rise in UAE in August. The new rates were announced by the Fuel Pricing Committee in the UAE on Thursday. Petrol price will be increased by 11 to 12 fils per liter and diesel by three fils.
From August 1, the price of Super 98 petrol will be 2.58 AED per liter. It was 2.47 dirhams last month. Special 95 petrol will cost 2.47 dirhams a liter from August. In July, it was 2.35 dirhams.
The price of E Plus petrol has been hiked by 2.39 dirhams per liter. The old rate was 2.28 dirhams. Diesel has been priced at 2.45 dirhams a liter since August. The old price was 2.42 dirhams. Local prices are determined by a monthly meeting of international oil prices.
