MA Yousafali appointed as Vice Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce

Abu Dhabi: Lulu Group Chairman MA Yousafali has been appointed Vice Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry Board of Directors. Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, ordered the reorganization of the Chamber’s Board of Directors. MA Yusufali is the only Indian on the board of directors. The new board of directors includes 29 eminent personalities from the Abu Dhabi-based business community.

Abdullah Mohammed Al Mastoi is the Chairman of the Board of Directors. Ali bin Harmal Al Dahiri has been appointed Vice-Chairman. Masood Rahma Al Masood has been appointed Treasurer and Syed Gumran Al Rimaithi has been appointed Deputy Treasurer.

After the appointment, MA Yousafzai responded that Abu Dhabi views the appointment with humility and pride. “I thank the far-sighted rulers. Will strive to fulfill the dedicated responsibility. We will continue to work for the economic upliftment of the UAE and India” he added.

Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry is one of Abu Dhabi’s most important institutions in the field of commerce and industry. The Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce, of which all business entities in Abu Dhabi are members, is a government agency that acts as a driving force between the government and the business community. Any institution operating in Abu Dhabi requires the permission of the Chamber.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan Safali, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, was honored with the Abu Dhabi Award 2021, the UAE’s highest civilian honor, in recognition of his outstanding support to commerce, industry, and philanthropy.
